Sea Bay Hotel

This is a nice hotel that is being renovated since Best Western recently acquired it. The check-in desk is located in the Best Western, a separate building in the same parking lot. This was a little weird/confusing. The rooms were clean and we could actually see a small sliver of Ocean from the balcony. There's a small outdoor pool as well.

Location was beautiful. Right on the other side of the street from the beach. It’s kinda weird though, you have to check in at the hotel next door and then go to the Sea Bay, and for some reason it felt a lot like Miami Vice inside the room. It was a little dated but definitely felt like the beach. I also had a hell of a view cause I was in the 4th floor so I enjoyed that a lot.

Had an awesome 3 night stay here. They're right off the expressway and you can get to many different places right away. We did have to check in at the Best Western (hotel is being renovated however you get to use the pool and the facilities at Best Western if you so desire) and then you walk right across the way to the Sea Bay hotel. Our room was clean, it came with a microwave and small refrigerator, as well as a balcony we had a beautiful view of the bay, we were able to watch the sun go down. It also has a pool for your enjoyment that is open from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m entrance to the beach is right across the street you just want to walk to the corner of 61st Street. For those that may not drive you can catch the bus right outside the hotel to go down to the boardwalk. The bus is $5 for all day. The staff is super friendly and willing and eager to assist you. They charge your credit card $1 for incidentals. Their motto is they would rather have people have more money to spend on their vacation. Can't wait to come and stay again next year

We had a good stay here. The bed was comfy. The room was clean and we had a beautiful view. The rooms are definitely outdated but this is a great hotel for the price. It is also in a great area with many things to do and places to eat near by!

We arrived at the hotel about 9:00 at night. The sign at the desk of the hotel said to go to the Best Western Plus to check in. That was an inconvenience. They put us in a room next to the elevator shaft so we had to listen to that all night. The bed had springs that I could easily feel through the sheets. The room was generally clean. I would recommend spending a little more and getting something nicer.

Our first time staying there for a long weekend . The rooms were clean . Parking was good . The view was great. The restaurants breakfast was good. Our only issue was the bad marijuana smell on the elevator and the whole fourth floor. We reported it and we’re told it’s legal now so they couldn’t do anything about it. We were not the only people complaining other people asked to change rooms . Plus we had a non smoking room .

My husband and I just needed a nice place to stay for one night. I told the young lady at the front desk ( Amber ) that we just needed to get rest. She upgraded us for the same price as our original room in a room overlook the bay. But most importantly on a very quiet floor. Excellent customer service. We had a great night sleep to start our day visiting our grandchildren. Wonderful hotel . Clean and very close to all amenities.

I really like this hotel and have gone there 5 times over the years. However, there are no longer sliding screen doors in the hotel so if it is a beautiful day, you still have to use the AC. Also, even though I was told that the mattresses were new this season, they are not hotel quality. Always a huge crater in the center and too soft. Detail cleaning is not evident. Unfortunately, I may not return. This is a great location and quiet place. Parking is plentiful.
